Delightful Disarray

Flowers...
One of my love languages
A fairest delight
Whether they be from
my yard
Mom's garden
Fields of wildflowers
or
particular florists who know the artistry of arrangement
The choice, the color, the combination
that's what I adore about bouquets
few are the floristas who are spot on for my particular taste
Mom's blooms gently placed in retired
local, honey jars, or the timeless Mason jar
each placed perfectly
each wild, feminine
the flowery design
is but
cleverly hued
distinctive in its tousled, thoughtful beauty
magnificent hues that enchant my soul
Oh, would there be such delightful beauty as this within my spirit
Oh, that the gift of being present in the presence of others
would draw them close to the God of all wonder, mystery and creation
Oh, that I could be but a simple vessel for the untamed glory of
Peach-tinged, Joseph's Coat Climbers
Spirited, violet Blue Salvia
Happy, coral Gerbera Daisies
Climbing, lavender Clematis
Softest puttied Lamb's Ear Trailing, indigo Petunias
Popping, pink Peonies
Consider this, my friend
should we meet someday
may my heart adorn you with a flower-laden Joseph's Coat of Many Colors
and may you hear a whisper in your ear,
that you
too
are a delightfully disarrayed vessel of glorious splendor
