Knock Knock

I’ve had a lot on my mind lately...

good things...

opportunities for growth.

I’ve written on my blog for 84 days in a row and I’ve done 6 of 12 weeks in the Artist’s Way at-home course which includes writing three full, 8.5x11, college-ruled pages every morning at 6am.

None of this to tout myself

or give myself a pat on the back...

although I’m not ashamed of the sense of pride that I have in self-accomplishment and discipline at this time in my life.

As a reminder

opportunity stands at the door knocking

We open the door

get curious

or cover our ears,

ignore the writing on the wall

and miss something especially intended for us.

Keep your eyes out for windows and doors that are open

or even cracked just enough to give you a peek inside or heighten your sense of wonder And possibility

it’s scary?

do it anyway

in fact, there’s probably no better time

In the process

Remember to be kind,

to love well and to

treat others like you’d like to be treated

Above all respect yourself,

handle yourself with care

know without a shadow of a doubt that you are loved without condition...

with perfection—

you are loved by

the Father,

the Son and

the Spirit

Such love is everlasting and without inclusion

all of creation shouts with joy and in unison over such a love as this

so, my friend, should you
