Remove the Blinds

It's a cozy, rainy Saturday.

I pulled up the blinds in my bedroom, opened the plantation shutters in the bathroom and tried the same with the shutters in the breakfast nook, but I couldn't keep those open.

Everything outside is so spring green and freshly watered. The colors are stunning, and when the covers are taken off the windows, there's more to see and more to enjoy.

Don ended up removing the plantation shutters in the kitchen.

All the LIGHT!

It's so pretty to be able to look out at the color-filled backyard with no filter obstructing the scenery.

I like a change of view now and again

new perspectives are important

seeing what I was missing

finding joy in the simple act

of removing the blinders

{and the blinds}
