love is all around
sometimes love shows up in the unlikeliest of places
Today, love peeked its head from out of a strawberry as I was slicing some for Jordany’s lunch tomorrow.
Maybe I was more prone to noticing this heart-shaped strawberry because I was slicing and not in a hurry. I almost missed it though but my hand slowed as my knife nicked its green crown.

and
there it was
love cradled in my hand
a heart
a strawberry heart
a reminder that love is all around
