Sun’s Out

Yippee. We have sunshine today. Gotta soak it up because more rain moves in this evening and will hang around for the next few days.
But my sunshine, Cara, is coming home today. I’m so excited to see my sweet girl.
“We have sunshine today!”
With the the sun being out today, I will take advantage of any opportunity that I have to sit in whether walking, driving or being in the house. Sunlight streams through the windows in the library. I sat in my chair the last time the sun was out. I closed my eyes and felt the warmth of the sun on my face until it slid below the cloud line in the last hours of sunset.
These clouds, though, made for a gorgeous sunset with hot red bleeding through along with bright orange on a backdrop of dark gray and navy blue.
Beautiful sunsets bring me joy.
Back to today and the gift of sunshine. My charge to myself is to drink in the rays and soak up some Vitamin D that only the sun can deliver.
