The evidence of living...dirty clothes in a heap, muddy paw prints on the floor, dust on the tables, dishes in the sink, disheveled children, unkempt hair...all are proof that life lives here.
The absence of clutter and chaos...no dust, no dirt...the visibly tidy...tied neatly with a bow suggests a false reality, builds a wall and leaves one peeking through the window pane wondering if there is more to life than feigning perfection.
Throw up the sash, open the door. Let down your hair, forget today’s laundry and tomorrow’s too.
A tattered past, an imperfect presence, the ever-twisting tale of life is evidence of living and proof that life exists.
