The Empty Space

This morning I finished my Bella Grace Magazine for the quarter. Near the end, there were suggestions about how to be a better writer.

One thing that struck my attention in particular (right now I'm sitting at my desk trying to remember what that one thing was!...okay, so, it might be helpful if I would get up and go LOOK in the magazine!). Alright, almost thought I made that up because it wasn't too obvious from looking at the magazine (because it was the last one).

At any rate, the suggestion that I honed in on was not to title your post/article until you've finished writing it. Nine times out of ten, I title my entry first and then end up finding a new title in what I've written and then changing the original to something else.

That blank "text box" has a way of distracting me, but I do agree that waiting until you've written what you want to write is the better way to come up with title.

What happens while the empty space waits is: creativity.

Hmm creativity is my purpose for writing every day in the first place. The more that I write, the more that my mind's wheels churn with ideas. I like that. It feels good. Taking it one day at a time!
